TOPS at SPAR

 
Brand Innovation at TOPS Gugulethu Wine Festival 2012 and the TOPS Soweto Wine Festival 2012.
 
Wrappa was approached by TOPS at SPAR – the headline sponsor - to coordinate and implement the VIP Lounge brand and entertainment logistics, as well as the design, production and build of the TOPS at SPAR exhibition stand at the TOPS Gugulethu Wine Festival 2012 in May 2012.

TOPS Gugulethu Wine Festival 2012

Thirty-seven wine exhibitors and 8 sponsors gathered on the rooftop of the Gugulethu Square Mall with the aim of serving their wines to over 3400 guests in an interactive tasting experience. Festival-goers collected a glass on arrival and then mingled with wine farm representatives learning and tasting about their unique offerings.

Wrappa was responsible for designing, setting up and branding of the 5m x 5m exhibition stand for TOPS at SPAR – the headline sponsor for the festival. Wrappa managed all logistics for the production and setting up of the exhibition stand.
 
The stand was built and set up according to the brand guidelines and client expectations.
 
VIP Lounge
For the TOPS VIP Lounge evening, the Wrappa team planned, coordinated and implemented all elements from Marquee branding, catering for over 300 VIP’s, management of performers for the evening - such as Unathi Msengana and her 9 piece band- including sound and stage building as well as all logistics pre, during and post the event.

The VIP event hosted over 300 guests, which includes major media outlets, sponsors’ VIP’s and invited stakeholders.

TOPS Soweto Wine Festival 2012
Wrappa was again approached by TOPS at SPAR – the headline sponsor - to coordinate and implement the VIP Lounge brand and entertainment logistics, as well as the design, production and build of the TOPS at SPAR exhibition stand at the TOPS Soweto Wine Festival 2012.

The TOPS Soweto Wine Festival, in association with Food Network, had 66 wine exhibitors, 16 big brand sponsors and over 8400 visitors to the festival who had over 900 wines to taste.

Video
Wrappa was tasked with recording, editing a video of the evening for TOPS at SPAR. The video included highlights of the evening in the main exhibitor hall, clips of the VIP’s and entertainment in the VIP lounge, interviews with important stakeholders at SPAR and co-founders of the festival, and voice over and music editing to final cut.

Both the events were a huge success and guests partied hard and enjoyed the wines featured at the festivals.
